There are two options when it comes to loading your own OEL image using the OEL Studio.

Option one: Importing your own files (Picture or Video)

1. Open Program, > click on "Make Ent Picture (LKA)",

2. Click the tab "BGP" > choose "Picture to Picture" or "Video to Picture" >Open , select from your jpg folder the jpg file you'll like to create > open

3. Double click on still picture. After you manipulate the picture/movie, move to "Step: edit the image", after editing the picture move to "Step 3: Preview " then click on "Conclude editing/Save". Remember where you save the LKD file.

Next steps are use to convert the LKD images you saved from the step above or you downloaded from http://pioneer.jp/car/pclink4/index-e.html>

4. Click on the "Export" tab> Open. Select the LKD file you save or downloaded (you can select as many as you like and can mix type.

5. Select one or all file names from "Step1: Select a file" box then click " -> Move".

6. Click the "LKA file export"

7. Name and save LKA file

8. Use a recording program to record the LKA file to a CD-R or CD-RW.

 

Step to download the LKA file to the headunit.

1 Press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off.

2 Press and hold EQ and LIST until the unit goes into download mode.

- Front panel is opened automatically and then Download and Insert disc is displayed.

- If a disc is loaded in the unit, it is ejected automatically.

- When the front panel is open, does not go into download mode even if you press and hold EQ and LIST.

3 Insert the disc containing the rewritten data into the CD loading slot.

- Download Ready appears in the display, and then data rewriting will start automatically.

- Now loading is displayed during rewriting.

4 After Finished is displayed, press EJECT to eject the disc.

- Download mode is exited and unit turns off.

Notes

! Do not insert anything other than a CD into the CD loading slot.

! It can take several minutes to complete this operation.

! During download mode, buttons other than EJECT are inactive.

! To cancel download mode, press EJECT.

! If an error message such as CD ERROR is displayed, refer to Understanding error message on rewriting the entertainment displays on the owners manual.
