Recently launched to the world at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the all-new 2006 Eclipse GT is a muscular, 263-horsepower sport coupe that looks more like a luxury sports car. The Eclipse's striking appearance, combined with the available 650-watt Rockford Fosgate sound system, is sure to get drivers noticed on any road in the country.

The Eclipse's optional Rockford Fosgate premium audio system features 650-watt amplification with nine-speakers, including a 10-inch, long-throw subwoofer in a fiberglass reinforced, acoustic suspension enclosure. The six-disc, in-dash CD changer plays MP3 files on CD-Rs for up to 64 hours of music playback. Staging Controls

The staging controls of the Rockford Fosgate system set the perfect "sweet spot" for the driver and other listeners. Staging has three adjustments in addition to the normal position: Stage, Live and Hall. The Stage setting corrects left to right staging and the height of the music relative to the driver's position. The Live setting simulates a room such as a rock club or smaller jazz venue. More ambient sound and rear speakers come to life when music is "Live." And the Hall setting simulates the sound heard inside a large concert hall.

Industry-First Personal Sound Settings

For the first time in a factory-installed system, drivers and passengers can listen to music exactly how they like it with the touch of one button. Personal sound settings allow occupants to save favorite preferences in memory such as tone, balance, fader, equalizer and staging to a single, easy-to-use preset. There are six presets, which utilize the same buttons used to save preset radio stations.

The 650-watt Rockford Fosgate premium audio system also will be available in the new 2007 Eclipse Spyder convertible, scheduled to roll into dealerships in April 2006.

SELL OUT??? זה כבר קרה לפני כמה שנים בטח שהמהלך הזה לא ממש מטריד מישהו והמעריצים המושבעים של החברה כבר עברו להעריץ חברות אחרות ממזמן ומעבר לזה אני לא רואה משהו רע בזה זה לא אומר שהחברה פחות טוב יש מערכות מקוריות עם רמקולים של חברות טובות מאוד כמו דיינאודיו

bmw 645 של חבר הגיעה עם מערכת סאונד PREMIUM אבל מבית HARMAN\KARDOM, סט קומפוננט קדמי ואחורי, מגבר ואופציה לסאב (שלא נלקחה).

מערכת ה - OEM הטובה (היחידה ששמעתי שאמת טובה) נמצאת ב LS430. מערכת מתוצרת מרק-לונסון וכוללת, בין השאר, הורנים והרצה "אקטיבית" של הדרייברים.

יש אפשרות בוולוו S80 להזמין חבילת רמקולים של דיינאודיו, אבל לא הזדמן לי לשמוע אותם ולא ידוע לי אם הוזמנה מערכת כזו בארץ.

בגלל שבארץ מערכות OEM מוגדרות חלק מהרכב (מן הסתם) הם ממוסות באותו שיעור כמו חלקי הרכב האחרים - עונש רציני. כאשר מערכת OEM שערכה צריך להיות 3-4 אלף נמכרת כאופציה ב 7-9 אלף שקל אז היא כבר מפסיקה להיות אופציה טובה.

הרוב הכמעט מוחלט של המערכות הללו הינו תוצאה של מכרז והזוכה בדרך כלל מי שיתן מקסימום רמקולים במינימום כסף. מאיפה צצו כל המערכות של ה - 10-12 רמקולים במכוניות אמרקאיות? כל מי שהתנסה במערכת של קומפוננט קידמי וסאב יודע שאם יפזרו באותו 12 רמקולים התוצאה בד"כ תהיה סלט אקוסטי.

החטיבה הגדולה ביותר של HARMAN היא חטיבת ה - OEM לרכב. בד"כ למכרזי יצרני הרכב הם מציעים 3 מערכות JBL כאופציה הפשוטה/זולה, INFINITY כאופציית הביניים ו - HK כמערכת הפרמיום. למיטה ידיעתי מדובר בכל המקרים בציוד ירוד לעומת כל ציוד ה"אפטר מרקט" שלהם, אין סיכוי שתמצאו סטים של GTI או קאפפה פרפקט בתוך דלתות של מערכות OEM מבית הרמן.

ה LS430 שאני מכיר (משהייתי בארה"ב) הינה ממודל 2001. למיטב ידעתי גם המערכת במודל הנוכחי כוללת טויטרים מסוג - HORN.
